Ubuntu automation test using LDTP

Its a pleasure to announce this news !!! Ubuntu QA team is using Linux Desktop Testing Project (LDTP) to test the package manager and other GNOME applications.

Ara Pulido is the main developer from Ubuntu, who has developed the framework on top of LDTP to test the GNOME applications in Ubuntu environment.

It's going to be awesome when that test suite can trigger and identify the vast majority of crashes a user would otherwise experience. I hope they include restricted, multiverse, universe, and whatever else also. Hardware driver test cases would be great.

I hope Ubuntu in general is more stable than my personal experience with it. I look forward to seeing it continue to improve.
