Shankar Ganesh will be integrating LDTP + Tinderbox

As part of GNOME organization / Google Summer of Code, Shankar Ganesh will be integrating Tinderbox and LDTP ! We are getting good support from GNOME community for this integration work.

LDTP ARM porting updates

I'm happy to share the news from Puneet Mishra (QA Lead working for Palm Source) has sent me a mail stating that LDTP has been ported to ARM hardware. So GTK based applications running in ARM hardware can be tested using LDTP !!!!!!!!

I'm happy to announce that Shankar Ganesh has been selected for LDTP project under GNOME organization for Google Summer of Code !!!!!!!!! List of selected studnets for Google SoC under GNOME org

I thank Veerapuram Varadhan, Federico, Behdad, Vuntz, Emily Chen (Sun China) for supporting LDTP project !! I regret for those who did not get a chance in Google Summer of Code. I hope they could make it for the next time. I wish good luck to all of the 5 applicants who have applied for LDTP project :)

Prasanth Mohan working on new LDTP editor !

Prashanth is working on a new LDTP editor based on Scintilla. I think, once this editor is out, LDTP will be boosted up !!! I personally thank Prasanth for his great effort :)

For the first time LDTP project (Linux Desktop Testing Project) was nominated for Google Summer of Code under GNOME organization !

I'm happy to share that we have received 5 applications for LDTP !!!!

I will soon share the list of selected candidates once the official list comes from GNOME / Google.

Hand writing recognition software released by Sun under GPL license !! Its great to hear that such softwares are released under GPL license.

Shaved my hairs in the head ;) - Been to Tirupathi

I will soon upload my photo ;) I have been to Tirupathi ! Dovoted my hairs to the God Thirumalai Venkateswara Perumal ! Had a nice darshan, I personally felt that I had achieved something after seeing the god. Its second richest god in the world, next to Rome !!!! I'm proud to say this :)
